1st half of May
oka I'm all over the place with my posts lol....anyways....rewinding back yet again....
May 8- Mother's Day
The kids really made my Mother's Day. During the week they surprised me and cleaned their room without being told. I was in our room next door listening to their conversation...
Sefa: We can make the room sooooo clean for Mom! She will love it!
Leila: Yeah and she can be sooooo surprised!

Then I got some sweet gifts from the school kids. Sefa made a keychain at school and Leila dedicated a page in her autobiography to me. lol So cute!
On Sunday we kept to our traditions of breakfast in bed and lunch/dinner after church. I let Aljay know exactly what I wanted to eat lol. Veggie omelette and sausage links for breaky and something light and healthy for lunch. He made a yummy salad and salmon. Well done babe.
We've never done gifts (which I am more than fine with) but I told Aljay I that I did want three things:
(1) He gets all the children ready for church.
(2) I shower and get ready without any children bothering me.
(3) We get to church on time.
All were accomplished except #3 lol. Partially my fault- I was trying to put on false lashes (ooh so fancy #acking) but it took so long and I couldn't get it how I wanted. hahahahha. #makeupfail #endedupangry #butstillpretty hahahhahah
The rest of the day was nice and peaceful.
May 11- Happy Birthday Sefa (sort of)
Sefa's birthday was celebrated at school. He was so excited. His birthday is in July but all the summer birthday's get celebrated before the school year ends
May 14- Plate Sale
My family is having a much needed and long over due family reunion in Washington this summer. We weren't planning on going (due to finances) but after thinking about it we thought WELL WHY THE HECK NOT! JUST MAKE IT HAPPEN! Besides, these opportunities don't always come around and I haven't seen my family in so long!
So now we're going and we have quite a bit of fundraising to do. We plan on driving (woohoo road trip!), which means we have to get the car ready for the summer heat (which is quite pricey). But our efforts coupled with a ton of faith and prayer and divine intervention and our parent's intervention (lol) we'll be able to make it I'm sure.
May 20-22nd- Aljay's Birthday Weekend
