SEPTEMBER Happenings

Labor Day Weekend - Labor day weekend in Utah county is when we have Polynesian Days. It's a three day event-- Friday, Saturday, and Monday. We have gone every year since it started a few years ago. This year PCC alumni got together to do a show dedicated to the late Aunty Dofi. We didn't dance but Aljay drummed and I stayed with the kids. It was exhausting but it's always good to run into long lost friends and family. On the night that PCC performed, it was so nostalgic and wonderful to hear familiar songs/music and that classic PCC drumming. Took us back to the good old college/Laie/PCC/dancing days!

Also, Kyrie Ilaoa was baptized and her baby sister, Ta'i,
were blessed on the same day.
Me and Leila and Saleima attended
before heading to the Poly Days.

September 11 Stake Service Project -

In remembrance of the 9/11 attacks in 2001, our Stake decided to do a day of service. The wards partnered up and took on different service projects throughout Utah county. We helped out at the Scera park with Orem 8th.

Sept 12 - Mom's Birthday & Family To'ona'i

Afele Kids

Our monthly Afele Family to'ona'i

That's Bubu and Aljay trying to figure out Aulia's homework LOL

It was also my Mom's birthday! We ordered a lei and had Dad pick it up so she could wear it to church for her birthday. My Dad told Mikaya Siufanua to take a picture and send it to us. Thank goodness she's there! We would've missed out on these cute photos. We also facetimed with Mom and Dad while we were all at the to'ona'i.

Sept 20th - We bought our Disneyland ticketsπŸ‘€πŸ˜²πŸ˜±πŸ˜πŸ˜΅πŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ

So now it's real. We have our tickets and there is no turning back.

The excitement is bubbling and brewing. eeeeeeeek!!!!

And I think I'll wrap up this post on that note.
