L E I L A 's 7th Birthday
It's taken me forever to wrap up this post, but I've finally got it done!
I couldn't post any other posts until I finished this one because this is for our FIRST BORN!
The one who started it all!
The one who made us parents.
The one who has taught me so much about FAITH
and LOVE
and our relationship with our Heavenly Father.
Happy 7th Birthday to our Daughter

We cannot believe she's 7!
Next Year she's going to be 8 and getting baptized!
6 Years ago we were in Hawaii celebrating her 1st Birthday.
And now she's in 1st Grade.
4ft and 3 inches tall.
Reading, Writing, Learning, and Growing!
We couldn't more proud of the young woman she is growing up to be.
We love you Leila!
We love you Leila!
- She planned her own birthday party...
because we told her we would do something small and then she got kind of sad so she asked if she could have friends or cousins over so we said yes but only if she plans everything...anyways...her menu was hilarious - The menu she put together was as follows:
- fried chicken
- sushi rice
- grapes
- jello
- crab
- salmon
- cake & icecream
*She also planned her games and activities. So Cute.
*Proud Samoan parent moment*
After she read her menu to me, she stopped and with a very concerned tone asked me "Will that be enough food? I want to make sure we have enough food. OH! I'll add carrots for our vegetables"
You are learning how to plan well my child. Well done. - She LOVES watching cake tutorials and Kid's experiments on Youtube
specifically Full Time Kid and Cookies Cupcakes and Cardio - She LOVES swimming
We would of had a pool party for her, but it's still too cold. - She is very athletic
Not so good with coordination, but very strong. - She LOVES to read
And is always excited to tell us when she's moved up a reading level. - She is slowly turning into a pre-tweenager.
Leaves her clothes everywhere.
Always asking to go somewhere and "do something fun" (like staying at home with your family isn't the best thing ever!)
Letting me know about her school projects last minute.
Telling me about her school dramas (small kine irrits bubbogum classmates lol)She eats everything and offers her suggestions when we are grocery shopping. But she is the leader of the pack and our go-to-right-hand-man. We wouldn't be able to function without her.
For her birthday we decided to honor her wishes for her menu...but then I get this pic sent to me by Aljay.
He really wanted to BBQ.
But how come the weather was great the entire week but come the day of her birthday it was overcast with a good chance of rain in the evening....just out luck...but then again Aljay never bothered to check the forecast lol.

So when all the kids came over, we had them play outside in the field. We brought out a bunch of bouncy balls and the kids just ran all over the front yard. Kayla and Kairee (Liz's girls) had brought the pie face game for Leila. So we busted it out and the kids had so much fun playing!
Once it started to get dark and the chicken was ready, we headed in and cleaned up all the kids (whip cream eeeeverywhere) and had dinner.

| She helped bake and decorate her cake :) |
But it was a fun way to end the night. The car ride home got the babies knocked out. So that was nice.
Leila had a ton of fun with her cousins and realized that it wouldn't have been as fun as having some of her classmates there. hahaha...She said so herself.
