June 2021 | It's Officially Summer!! Pt. 1

Woohoo!!! Kids are out of school! Outdoor splashpads and pools are open! The firepit is ready for endless smores and hotdog roasting. Aaaaaand thanks to Aljay's pyromaniac tendencies, our garage is already stocked with fireworks for 4th of July. Bring on the fun!!!

Living Room Camping

Liz and Toli brought over their massive tent for the kids to all camp out in the backyard. The winds got crazy during set up and we saw some lightning and rain clouds not to far away. We didn't want to chance anything so the tent was brought indoors lol.

Also, Damon and his one year old daughter Penina moved up to Utah. Aljay didn't think he would ever get to see that guy again. It was pleasant surprise for sure! They all stopped by and on one night they had Damon, Darren, Eldon, Daniel, and Lahjval all over. Quite an unexpected reunion.

Arlene and the Kids Visited

Arlene and her kiddos came out for a volleyball tourney. She stopped by with Myra one day and we ended up taking all the little kids to Coconut Grove and Chukaramas afterwards. So junk my only photo lol.

Orem Summer Fest!

We split up for this one; I tool the three older kids, Aljay took Saleima and Tuli, and Mom took Britt and Baby lol.

I decided to go on the rides with the kids, which wasn't the best idea lol. The carnival rides are smaller than the rides at regular theme parks so I was squeezing into most of the rides hahaha. Not the brightest idea hahaha.

But everyone enjoyed rides and carnival foods and came home exhausted!

Happy 12 Year Anniversary!

Hoi....we almost forgot about this. I had it on the calendar but I was too tired to plan anything and eventually forgot. When I finally remembers, the only thing I wanted to do was go to the gym and then have a nice lunch or dinner.

We didn't make it to the gym lol. Aljay wanted to go to the carnival by ourselves, thinking he would enjoy the rides. As he took a closer look he realized that he would not fit in any of the rides...sorry hun, you'll have to wait for when we go to Lagoon lol. Plus, his allergies were kicking in hard and he forgot to take his allergy pill.... so we decided to leave. It just wasn't the same without kids hahha. We did try Rolled Tacos ice cream and those were good, so there's that.

We then decided to drive up to Salt Lake county and go eat at Cheesecake Factory. Aljay had called ahead to get a reservation for us, but he scheduled it for 10pm...eeeghh... So we went to Outback Steakhouse instead. Good thing, because I had a gift card that Candace had given us for Christmas! Woohoo!

Anyways, it was just nice to hang out and catch up with each other. I shared with Aljay my little "Crazy Ideas" notebook that I started writing all my "brilliant" ideas in. I'm hoping to get started on some of those ideas. And of course no pics were taken because we were more focused on what we were going to eat and then listening to music in the car ride lol.

But here are allll the pics from the last 12 months with just the two of us......wooooooowwww....we're so junk! hahahaha
