Happy 7th Birthday Viiga

Happy Birthday VIIGA!!!
Our favorite Botz turned 7! Party Time!

The weather was finally warm enough to have an outside party. So got some water balloons, water guns, small blow up pool, and then water slide bouncer. All the neighborhood kids and cousins came over for a splash.

It was so nice to have all the kids playing outside. When the sun finally set, the winds started to pick up. So we shut the water off and went inside for pinatas, cake, and karaoke lol.

It was so much fun! Wish I had more pics but when can you ever get pics when you have to get the food set, tend to kids, prep games, and all that!??!? Here's some I got and some from Britt.

I really didn't want to bake so I did a jello island cake ahhahaha. Then just had a sheet cake on the side lol. I was pretty darn proud of my jello cake. The "island" was made from graham crackers mixed with some frosting. The jello had shark gummies in it. And I found a minion toy figure to represent Viiga (thanks dollar store) and a pretzel raft. LOL it was fun and super quick!

Seven things you might not know about Viiga
  1. He likes video games and watching gamers on Youtube.
  2. He is a high level reader with pretty good accuracy and comprehension.
  3. He is athletic, but doesn't know it. Has the size for sports, but just needs a little (a lot) bit of focus.
  4. He cooked steaks for the first time for Mother's day and they came out perfect (like forreals!! I was so impressed)
  5. He taught himself how to ride a bike when he was 3 years old and is the best bike rider we have. He would probably do great doing BMX type bike riding.
  6. He eats a lot and (luckily) isn't super picky.
  7. He is the most original and hilarious "content creator" with hours logged on my phone.
I love this kid and his bright mind. I love our conversations we have. I love his dance moves. I love that he doesn't fuss over what he wears, in fact he would be just happy in shorts (no shirt) all day. He doesn't like doing chores or running lol. He's got the craziest hair and two funky front teeth (he's in that awkward phase lol maybe braces in the future).

He drives me mad all the time, but also teaches me how to be patient, how to pivot, and adjust my focus/approach. All in all, I'm so grateful he's ours. He might be the middle child with the hardest name to pronounce (at least to Americans), but everyone always remembers Viiga.

Thanks for bringing light, laughter, and life lessons (mostly on patience) to our family.
