Preggo Update: Last One!
By the time I'm posting this, I've already delivered baby...but I still wanted to post this for my own personal journal.
Week 32
We're in the final stretch and I am thrilled to have made it past 32 weeks. I was feeling anxious because last year I was 32 weeks along when I had to unexpectedly deliver Metuli. That experience was super scary/traumatizing and a bit of me feared that it would happen again. I was also nervous because I decided to change my doctor and go back to the midwives that helped me deliver Saleima. Luckily I was able to meet with them and an OB from the same practice and I walked out of each appointment feeling good about my decision. Aljay felt good about it too. Even though American Fork is a little bit further, it felt like a better decision for us.

I also asked Aljay to give me a blessing to help me stay calm, focused, and not so worried. So grateful for the Priesthood and the comfort and peace I can feel when I receive a blessing.
I'm now at the point where I need to go in for --
The specialists at Maternal Fetal Medicine will give a recommendation for a delivery date at my next appointment with them (Dec 23rd). UPDATE>>> They didn't give a hard deadline or anything. Just recommended I deliver between 38-39 weeks.
I'm hoping my blood pressures stay where they're at and don't go up. For some reason, making it past the 32 week mark has given me more hope in the chances of me having a vaginal birth and making it to full term. I'm thinking this might be my last post before baby arrives. I'm just praying for a safe delivery for both of us.
- midwife checks (once a week)
- lab work (blood and urine samples) once a week and
- non-stress tests twice a week.

Oh and names....here's where we're at for the moment.
- Salani - Aljay's suggestion
- Fa'afetai - My suggestion. After Aljay's Paternal grandma
- Janeen - my suggestions, after Aunty Janeen
- Upumoni - this name is from my family tree and I don't know why, but I'm always drawn to it.
Here's what my weekly updates have looked like up until delivery...
