October| Fall Happenings
It got quite chilly over here during the start of October. We transitioned into fall faster than last year. The kids went from wearing shorts and t shirts to long pants and jackets within a few days. Hopefully we get a little more Fall weather and it doesn't end up snowing on Halloween. We're not quite ready for winter.
We're so grateful that they were able to visit for a few days! The kids had a blast with their cousins.
It was freeeeezing so we took two photos and called it goods. We were going to do more but the temperature dropped so quickly that we cut it short. I'm just happy that we were able to get photos with the kids before they left.
So now it's just us at home....with Lafai...and Tui....and whoever stops by for a visit lol
I'm so grateful though. I got to go to 4 of the Hawaiian islands with Oahu being the last stop. All the islands were so beautiful but I was mostly looking forward to being on Oahu to see family! It was the best way to end the trip!
You can see all the highlights here.
I stole these from the Primary. Can always count on them to take pics!
I took the kids out while Aljay stayed home and made us dinner and handed out candy. Tui was dressed up as well and helped to hand out candy.
It was nice to meet some of our neighbors. There are still a lot of houses being built so there aren't too many people in our compound but there were still plenty houses to visit. The kids did one round through the neighborhood and then came home and ran around the neighborhood with some of the other kids.
And lucky for us it was chilly but not snowing.
And no I have no pics because I was over Halloween by then hahaha.
Iafeta's Visit | General Conference Weekend
Earlier in the month the Iafeta's were able to stop by for a visit. Neima was on fall break and since it was General Conference weekend, Candace didn't have any meetings or church things to tend to (she's the Relief Society President for her ward..das why haaahhd)We're so grateful that they were able to visit for a few days! The kids had a blast with their cousins.
Family Photos
My parents left on the 15th for Tutuila again. Their container shipped out a few weeks ago and their truck was shipped out last week. So now they head back to work on the house and tend to the garden. We'll most likely see them again next summer. Before they left we were able to take some pictures of them with the kids :)It was freeeeezing so we took two photos and called it goods. We were going to do more but the temperature dropped so quickly that we cut it short. I'm just happy that we were able to get photos with the kids before they left.

<Sidenote> yeah Lafai is staying with us. He came up with Uncle Neta for the Samoan Language Symposium and was going to fly back afterwards but decided to stay since he's starting at UVU in January. Oh and Fatu will be joining us sometime in Dec/Jan for school too. It's so nice having Lafai here. We're so happy to have him here and soon Fatu.
Hawaii Trip | Oct 18-27
I went out to Hawaii again for work. This time I wasn't 5 months pregnant and super exhausted...thaaaank goodness! This trip wasn't as long as the last one either. If I could of cut it down even more I would've. Traveling isn't the same when you go by yourself. Luckily Leone came on this trip, so I had good company.I'm so grateful though. I got to go to 4 of the Hawaiian islands with Oahu being the last stop. All the islands were so beautiful but I was mostly looking forward to being on Oahu to see family! Trunk Or Treat | Oct 28
I got back on Saturday the 28th and we ended up missing our ward Trunk or Treat...but then we went to the Trunk Or Treat put on by Royal Outreach (run by all the Browns). They always go all out with everything and it's so much fun! Aljay donated a few prizes and the kids got loaded up with candy and I was finally home...it was a good day.
I was hanging (kind of jet-lagged) in the morning and didn't even get a picture of the kids, but I aint even mad cause they were so fob looking hahahah!!! Leila and Sefa looked good but Viiga couldn't find his pants
[cause we forgot to put his pants in the wash and he only has one pair of church pants that he hasn't put holes in yet...it doesn't matter what material we get him, he always manages to make holes in the knee parts of his pants]
so he wore his white shirt and black shorts, kalos. Then Saleima was ready- hair up, pretty dress....but she wouldn't wear here shoes without socks. Not the cute socks...the gray/black sporty socks. So there's that.
But all of that was quickly forgotten once we got to church and were uplifted by the music and testimonies of the Primary. They brought such a sweet warm Spirit that filled the entire chapel.
Our kids did great as well! Leila said her part perfectly, Sefa said his (rushed but at least he had his part memorized since the first day he got it), and Viiga sat up there the entire time (not including 1 bathroom break) LOL.
<Sidenote> Viiga is so funny. When it was his class' turn to go up, he waited in line and was standing right in front of the bishopric. Then he farted and looked back at the bishopric and said "oh sorry I farted!" They were giggling at his remark which made him a little ma and so he didn't want to go up to say his part any more hahaha. Poor kid. But I'm still proud of him for staying up there practically the whole time!
Annnnd we were on time to church #bonuspoints. Snaps, claps, and pats on the back for us!
| There was a plane in the sky. |
| Sally was a cat. Viiga was optimus prime. Sefa was Miguel from Coco Leila was Coco's cousin lol |
.....and then at 10 o'clock at night I realized that the primary program was the next day...orkaaaaa.....so we got home and had to do laundry so the kids could have clean clothes for church LOL

Halloween | Oct 31
By the time Halloween night finally arrived our kids had already gone to 2 trunk-or-treats, had Halloween parties at school, and were not 2 millz about getting all dressed up for the actual trick or treating. Since it was a school night and I had gotten home late from work, they just threw on quick (but warm) costumes that we've had for a while and went trick or treating around the neighborhood.I took the kids out while Aljay stayed home and made us dinner and handed out candy. Tui was dressed up as well and helped to hand out candy.
It was nice to meet some of our neighbors. There are still a lot of houses being built so there aren't too many people in our compound but there were still plenty houses to visit.
