All Things Aulia!! 

April 2nd - Aulia Returned with Honor!

Our sweet Aulia completed her mission in Alaska and returned home honorably. Aljay, Brittany, and I were able to go to the airport. 



April 11 - Aulia's Homecoming Dinner

We celebrated her coming home with a wonderful gathering at their chapel. Candace and her family were able to be there. Mamo and her family were able to be there. It was a great evening with delicious food and great company. 

April 12 -Aulia's Homecoming

This is where she actually spoke in sacrament meeting. We had to rush over to their ward after our sacrament meeting due to Aljay having to conduct and Brittany having to speak. When we got there, the chapel was full. I didn't get to hear her speak, but I was just happy to be there. 

Our whole Afele side of the family went out to eat after church. Luck was on our side because our group of 30 people were able to get into the buffet and be seated after a short 15 minute wait. 

Grandpa Viiga

Dad was also out here for a bit. He arrived the same day as Aulia, just at a different time. Lahvjal had picked him up and we didn't actually see him until they came by the chapel where we were having young men/young womens/activity days lol

He ended up not having to translate for general conference, so it was a lot of grandpa time with the kids and lot's of going out to eat lol 

Teens

This topic just needed it's own section. The teenage stage is fascinating lol 

Leila

- had a volleyball tournament
- learned some tough life lessons and didn't get to go to Prom
- has been working hard to get her grades up
- she also got into her first fender bender...everyone was safe! but okaaaa...not excited to pay for the other car damages lol

Sefa
- had track meets
- went to prom
- got his first kiss auuuuuu
- we pulled him from track to focus on his grades

Viiga
- is prepping for Junior High next year
- declined my invitation to sign him up for rugby booo
- he's chillin for now but will start football training very soon

The Trio

The trio of Saleima, Metuli, and Salani are thriving lol. They are a strong team and always look out for each other. They are their Dad's cryptonite and can almost always get whatever they want by asking him hahaha

We're good. Busy but blessed.

Being Prepared For These Times

Auuuu that title sounds like I'm trying to write a General Conference talk or something hahaha. Probably still on the GC vibe from the beginning of the month lol. Anyways... So this pandemic that's going on, it's been something else! It has put the whole world on lock down. So many lives have been affected. I've written quite a bit in my journal, but I wanted to make sure to write about how the Lord has prepared our family specifically for this time. Looking back just in February and March, we can easily see how the Lord had orchestrated parts of our lives.  In February Aljay secured an art collector who commissioned several art pieces. His deposit was the cushion that brought a sense of financial security when we entered this lock-down life.  Towards the end of February, my bosses had heard about school closures in Seattle and decided that we should have a plan in place for our advisers to work remotely in case the schools had to close. Saleima's 2nd Birthday

NOV 20th  HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY  Saleima Lupeautino Fuimaono  Born November 20, 2015 American Fork Hospital 7lbs 12 oz All about our 2 Year Old Saleima She's a fatty! First thing she says when she wakes up is "EAT!?" And she eats a lot. Feed her and she'll be your best friend.  She's one tita! She can hold her own against Viiga and has no problem going up against him for anything.  She loves to DANCE! Sefa is her go to dance partner.  She loves shoes.  She thinks she's 3. Ask her how old she is and she'll always say 3. Fiapotz this girl. She loooooves candy and is always asking for candy.  She is very adventurous and likes to do everything her siblings are doing.  She is definitely my mini and a total Daddy's girl.  She likes dresses and going for rides.  She doesn't like dogs/puppies. Terrified of them actually.  She is a cuddle bug and likes to sleep riiiiight up in Mommy's face or snug...
