Quick Health Update | Aljay and I

I lost focus in May and have been thoroughly enjoying my summer 😬 lol..

Welp, it's time to get back on track.

I'm starting right where I left off, right around 218 - 220 lbs.

Here's how I am going to focus my energy:

Diet

  • Low Carb
  • Nutrient Dense/ whole foods
  • Eating in the correct order (veggies then protein/fats then carbs)
  • Stay! Hydrated!
Exercise
  • Movement - take walks at work, set a timer to remind me to get up and move
  • Exercise - continue with the Mutu System

Other
  • Continue taking my meds!
  • Monitor my blood sugar levels frequently
  • Set another follow-up appointment for Sept or Oct

For Aljay......

hoiiiii..this guy got his fair share of procedures to get done

  • Eye procedure for his Keratoconus (ker-uh-toe-KOH-nus)
    • occurs when your cornea — the clear, dome-shaped front surface of your eye — thins and gradually bulges outward into a cone shape. A cone-shaped cornea causes blurred vision and may cause sensitivity to light and glare.
    • Found out it's hereditary, so that's something to check for when the kids get older.
    • It's just way expensive, so we have to save up for it.
  • Teeth Extraction
    • His bottom 4 teeth are kefs and need to be pulled. Then he needs a flipper put in while he waits to get a new set of bottom teeth. Of course that's $$
  • This isn't a top priority item, but I would really like to get Aljay some orthopedics. He's flatfooted and I think it would help his feet not hurt so much when he does a lot of standing or walking.
Then there's the usual things like he needs to eat healthy, drink water, and exercise lol duh

BUT man on man is health so important. So here we go team! yeah team??? LOL

I'm over here writing this and hoping Aljay is on board as well hahaha
