Picture Day at School

The kids had picture day. We haven't bought school pictures the last few years, but we decided to do it this year since it's Leila's last year in Elementary and Saleima's first year in.  Here's what they looked like before school. We shall see how their pics come out lol

Manusina Art

This month has been another busy one. Aljay has so many projects that have come in and are due this month. It's been crazy, but we are so grateful and feel very blessed.

Here's some of those projects --

Ho'okele Department

We're really grateful for these two monkeys as well. We have days where we are spending hours running errands after Saleima goes to school and these two are troopers!! They don't complain since they often get treated to lunch meetings with Mommy and Daddy.

Lots of Dentists Appointments

We finally got Medicaid and their dental insurance came in first...so we started off right away with all their appointments.....before they over do it on the candy.

Primary Program

This was Leila's last one and she couldn't have been more annoying ahhahahah Her facial expressions throughout the program and as she did her part clearly read "I'm Over this"...dang tweenagers.

I wish I got a picture of our kids, but I was distracted by the fact that I got released from 3 years of being a Relief Society president. WOOHOOO!!!! lol And I will enjoy my break until the next calling.

Also, Aljay and I are taking the Emotional Resilience class at church. I signed us up because Bishop wanted the ward council to take the classes as well hahah eeh and then I get released lol it's been fun though! It's a great class and I've enjoyed getting to know some of the families in our ward a bit better.

And lastly,

Halloween!!!

We went trick-or-treating with the Ilaoas and then ended the day with a little date at the Virginia VS BYU football game, courtesy of Penny's Dad who coaches for Virginia Tech.

Side Story >>> So Kayla and Leila (cousin besties) are absolutely in the tween ager phase. After the first round of trick-or-treating they asked if they could go with Leila's friends to the next neighborhood. Parentals all said yes as long as they get home by 8pm. At 7:58pm we get a call from Leila saying that "my friend is crying on the side of the road. She's lost and her Mom isn't answering her phone"....Aljay and I already left for the football game so I just said "Ok tell your friend she's going to be okay and get your bums home!"....Kayla does the same thing and calls Liz,  and Liz is like "mmhmm...stay right there I'm picking you up" They get home and guess who comes knocking on the door to trick-or-treating at our house?!? The "lost friend" weeeeh! hhahhahah These two really be thinking they slick hahahah Girls pleaaase, been there done aaallll of that! hahaah....and so it begins lol

So.So.Fun!
