Keiki Update

Leila Tauaneai
9 yrs old
4th Grade

  • She is Aunty Brittany's mini and #1 fan.

  • Every day she gives us a few glimpses of the teenage phase that will be in full effect in a few years. It sometimes freaks us out lol It's uncharted territory and I don't know if we're ready for it! But we're pretty positive that she's still going to want to hang out with us when she is a teenager. At least she better! lol She is hilarious and so fun to hang out with.

  • She enjoys reading, doing her nails, making slime, and wearing her hair up in a bun or in braids.
  • If she could, she would wear basketball shorts or sweatpants and a tshirt to school everyday. Aljay makes her wear her jeans as much as possible lol

Iosefa Leotoaimealelei Uilifoti
8 years old
3rd Grade
  • Our sweet son who is also the sensitive one out of the bunch
  • He's so good at caring for Metuli and is considerably patient with Viiga
  • He is a picky eater, which sometimes is really frustrating
  • He is always really helpful and is the best cleaner out of all the kids
  • He is such a natural athlete and we often feel terrible for not putting him into sports. Soon my boy, soon.
  • He enjoys the outdoor and loves to explore and use his imagination.
  • He still has the crazy eyes smile. Cracks us up all the time.

Viiga Taagaomanusisina
5 Years Old
Kindergarten

  • This kid is hilarious. Kindergarten has been grreeeaat for him! He loves feeling like a big kid, riding the bus to and from school, and coming home with his school papers. He told me the other day that school was really tiring hahahah We know kid! Lol He's been coming home and taking naps almost every day after school.
  • He wakes up in the mornings quite the happy chipper lil kid. I mean it's great an all that he is a morning person, but oh my goodness I cannot sometimes! haha
  • As annoying as he can be sometimes, he cracks us up with his comments and facials.
  • He is still working on his listening skills and still takes fooorrreeevveerrr to do his chores.

Saleima Lupeautino
3 Years Old
Home School
  • The princess diva
  • Likes anything girly/princess/fairy/cute/sparkles/glitter
  • Her and Leta bonded real quick during the reunion (as I expected they would) because they are close in age and have very similar interests lol
  • Sometimes so picky with her clothes
  • Even though she is very capable, she will always ask someone else to get her water, make her food, get her an apple, etc.
  • She our whiny child whose natural tone is whiny. We always have to remind her to ask properly for things.
  • She's so pretty and photogenic though lol
  • Even though she's a girly girl she has a crazy Viiga inspired side to her as well.

Metuli Lapreal
20ish Months
Home School
  • The bottomless pit, she can eat all day long
  • Aljay's little bff. She loves her mama, but she is a Daddy's girl through and through. Mannerisms and all.
  • She is spunky, cute, and funny
  • She loves playing with her siblings and hates being left out when they leave to go places
  • She does so well in nursery because they start off with snacks lol
  • She is still developing her speech and can say hi, bye, Leila, inu, hiiyeee-yah! (karate chop), cheese, thank you, baby shark, twinkle, hmm...yeah we should keep working on her vocab hahaha
  • She can count to 10 and likes to do that a lot
  • She also likes to sing twinkle twinkle little star and baby shark
  • She's adopted the nickname Tuli Buli (like a bully) because she likes to pester her siblings and tries to bully her way into getting food or toys..mostly food
  • But she's cute and has wild curly hair that you can't help but smile about.

Baby Girl | Kid #6
22 weeks in utero
  • Kicks every day
  • Enjoys all foods, but especially chocolate, fruits, and meat
  • Still gives Mommy morning sickness every now and then
  • Size of a cantaloupe

And now for some picsss....

Bridal Veil Falls Hike
We went on a hike one weekend. It was my attempt to get the kids outdoors before the cold hits. Fall is starting up already and you can feel the chill in the air.  They were asking 2 million questions on the way to the falls, but as soon as they got there they jumped out of the car and hit the trail. You know these kids needed some nature because they went crazy exploring the plans, minerals, and rocks.

Stake Primary Carnival
Our Stake gave out a Come Follow Me challenge for the whole month of August and then ended it with a carnival. They gave out a calendar with kid friendly ideas for each day's Come Follow Me lesson. It was super helpful and we mostly stuck to it.

And more pics of these two since they're cute and I love witnessing their relationship.
