July is BANGING!!
JULY 1- Date Night and Fireworks:)
JULY 5- Springville Reservoir
And the fun don't stop. We took the kids to the man made beach in Springville. Closest thing to the beach we have. Water was freezing but the kids didn't care. We went with Michael Levi and his boys Simba and Zues. Manaia and Pani and their families joined us too.
We started off the day with breakfast in bed. Then I took 2 hours to get ready...I had to stop couple times and watch shows on hulu lol aaaanndd I got a nice long lonely shower with no one asking me questions or needing to use the bathroom (hello there are three bathrooms in this house! why they always gotta use ours?!). While I was getting ready Aljay and Sefa went to the store to buy me a cake. So when I was finally dressed I came downstairs and they came out with the cake and a sparkler on top hahaha.
JULY 11- Happy 5th Birthday SEFA!!!
(Post coming soon)
UPDATE:
Here's his birthday post
I love date nights!!! These rare occasions are my favorite! Especially when it's freee and/or really low cost. We went to see a fine art show at the Provo Freedom Days Carnival and then walked around the festival playing a few carnival games. But it was so hot and everything was so overpriced we just got some drinks and then left for a drive down Provo canyon.
After our date we picked up the kids and headed to Carterville Park and watched the Stadium of Fire fireworks show with some friends. The firework show was junk but kids had a blast. It was a fun evening for sure.
These are the only pics we took when we were leaving lol.

JULY 4- Happy Independence Day America!
We decided to go watch the Freedom Days Parade on Monday and camped out Sunday evening. We had a lot of fun! Aljay and the Militia guys had saved spots, cooked food, and set up all the tents Sunday evening. I was at home with the girls and we joined everyone else around 11pm. We just hung out, ate, and popped fireworks. Viiga was so scared of the fireworks lol. We were up from then until we got home the next day around noon. Poor Sefa was so tired that he didn't even make it to the house from the car. We all crashed out ugly.
We woke up around 4pm and went to pick up some leftover otai and our pot of curry from Lloyd's house. The firecrackers at Smith's were half priced (since most people are buying their fireworks from the millions of tents set up at almost every corner) so we picked up a few for the kids to pop at home. Sefa and Leila were loving it! Viiga was still so scared so he just watched with his face pressed up against the window. Poor guy lol

Side note: I am excited for our kids to get a little bit older. Michael and Aljay and I have little kids so we're always used to jumping up when it's time to clean up. But Pani and Manaia were like 'no just sit down, let the kids do it' And their teenagers cleaned up everything, put the tents away, picked up the trash, put everything in the right car and there was not one complaint. OMG. First time we had a get together and didn't have to do all the clean up. I LOVE having the kids small at this age but man it's going to be nice when they can forreals do allll da feaus.
JULY 7- My 29th Birthday!!
One away from 30....yaaaaaay lol. You know your getting old when you stop getting excited about your birthday lol or even start to forget that it's your birthday! Thank you Sui for reminding me!
After a few bites of the cake (okay maybe we ate half the cake) we dropped off the kiddos at Bob and Emily's house and headed out to Tucanos!!!! I didn't want to go there because it's expensive but you get to eat free on your birthday sooooooo why not!!! We ate waaaayyy to much and I was borderline coma status. So miserable. Why do I keep doing this to myself haha.
Then Aljay and Lahvjal started filming Myster Su'a's music video and naturally I tagged along as the useless assistant lol. Yes this was poor planning on Aljay's part. He told me a few days back that he got a sitter for the kids and that him and I could do anything I wanted allllll afternoon/evening for my birthday...ummm yeah I ended up holding a reflector for their filming hahahahha I didn't mind though. It was fun to watch and be a part of....even though half of the time I was playing with their kids or cruising on the grass.
All I wanted for my birthday was to go to the temple and make foods from my pinterest boards lol. But it ended up so much better. I had such a good time driving around, eating with, and helping alongside my BFF. I still want to go temple though.
