Fuimaono's first Fall/Winter in UTAH
It's been a while since my last entry...probably because nothing incredibly interesting has happened in our lives....
until these past two months....
First off...
We're expecting again!
I'm about 13 weeks along and Baby #3 is due to arrive May 2014!!! Supposedly the week before the family reunion and if we're lucky maybe baby will arrive on Aljay's birthday (May 21). Aljay and I are excited and feel extremely blessed that Leila and Sefa will have another sibling :)
So far the pregnancy has been BLEH!!! My first trimester has been textbook standard! Morning sickness, nausea, vomiting, and fatigue....and being at home with the two energetic monkeys hasn't helped either. Sometimes I wished I was working to help me take my mind off the symptoms and distract me. That's probably the reason why my 1st trimesters with Leila and Sefa were easier.
The most noticeable difference from the last two pregnancies is that I....its so annoying....I.....and kinda embarrassing....I....its somewhat gross....I SALIVATE! Yes...as in drool like a dog....its more irritz than anything!

| What I look like when I'm trying to talk. |
I constantly have to spit and try to combat the side effect by chewing gum, brushing my teeth, rinsing with mouthwash, eating food (but that doesn't really help cuz I'm always nauseated and not hungry). I have to have a bottle nearby to spit in so I don't have to walk back and forth to the bathroom. Gross yeah? Having to carry a bottle of Saliva around with you. And yes it even goes in my purse for when we leave the house lol.....anyways....nuff with the the grossness....onward to more appealing topics!!!

Fall is here!
The leaves changed colors and fell, the temperatures lowered to a pleasant and bearable cool, and now I get to wear boots without having to justify why I'm wearing them!!! Fall is beautiful! But now Winter is slowly creeping in.

*We went to a pumpkin patch, rode on a hayride, and picked pumpkins.
The other day it snowed for an hour. I watched in awe for about 15 minutes.....then I was over it. Luckily it was warm enough that the snow didn't stick around. I'm not a fan of the cold.

Next up...
We're buying a house!
Well a townhouse...either way
Aljay and I are going to be homeowners!
Never in a million...well maybe a million...but never in our young (pre 30 year old) lives would we think we would be able to buy a house.
I guess after living in Hawaii for so long, we felt like we would never get out of the "tenant" lifestyle. It seemed like owning your own home was a far off dream that wouldn't be realized until laterrrrrr in life. That mentality sort of stuck with us when we moved to Utah.
Aljay however, was first to start researching and looking into the possibility of becoming a homeowner. It took a while, prayers, and a miracle for me to come around to actually jumping on board with him. I've been broke since college and that need-to-be-frugal mentality hasn't left me either. Unfortunately it incites fear and hinders my ability to see possibility sometimes. Thankgoodness for Aljay and his patience with me.
I don't know if I can explain how excited we are! Despite the process being long, tedious, document and paper filled, somewhat scary, uncertain, and nerve wrecking.....it has been exciting and inspiring at the same time.
To summarize everything...
We've been blessed tremendously and we have witnessed the Lord's hand along this journey. And a journey it certainly has been.
Things we've learned and relearned...
1. faith + work + obedience = blessings and miracles.
2. Paying an honest tithing NEVER fails to bring about needed blessings.
3. Being a stay-at-home Mom is WORK. Believe it.
4. Kids can acclimate to anything! No joke.
5. Karma is real. Don't believe me? Have kids.
