Aloha oe Hawaii!

Hawaii will always hold many dear memories for our family- from hanabada Laie elementery days for Aljay, to our single adult college days, to married life, to now being out on our own with two beautiful kids to love and support.

Along the way we've met so many new people, forged new friendships, and strengthened our bonds with our families here in Hawaii. We are so grateful for our family and friends and for their love, help, and support for our little family.  We love you and are deeply grateful for you all.We are ever so grateful for being able to live, love, and learn in a beautiful place.

In preparation for our trip we had a moving sale and cleaned out everything! We also took several of our unsold items to the free-bin at TVA. Thannnkk goodness for that bin. It makes you feel like your not just throwing good useful items away, even though some of the stuff does just end up in the dump anyways.

Moving Sale/Clean out Day

We also decided to have BBQ plate sales. Lahvjal made this video from our last BBQ. Thanks Lahvjal for being mega talented and capturing these moments! Ur skills is too mean brah!

Once all that was done, we had time to reflect and second guess enjoy our last couple of days.

Now we've shipped our car,  packed our boxes, sold our bbq plates, had a moving sale, donated our unwanted/unsold items, and cleaned out our house. Looking around at our empty house, it has definitely hit us that we are moving.

Usually it doesn't hit me until we're actually on the plane but this time is different.
This time Aljay and I are the adults and we have two little lives who depend on us and are mostly the reason why we are moving.

and to be honest....We are really EXCITED!
YES we will absolutely miss Hawaii! Very Very much!

The beach won't be 5 minutes away anymore.
Our kids will now have to wear shoes. Sefa won't be able to go skinny dipping. Cousins will be hours away instead of minutes away. We will have to really think about the way we speak. No moa da kine Laie slang lydat.
Leila will have to stop calling people/things "irritz".
We will have to buy gallon size lotion.
No no. Things will definitely not be the same.

But we are ready to try something different.

 Have a new adventure.

And when that adventure is finish, ia, ona toe taunu'u mai i Hawaii lol.

Aloha oe Hawaii! Until we meet again!
