Jan 1 - Brittany is Leaving US!!!😰😩😓 Is she tho??? Am I being dramatic? Yah.She's moving into her own place two minutes away and still here in Vineyard lol. Her roomates (the tiny girls) are especially sad. We all are, but we also know Britt deserves her own space where she can be free to do what she wants and kick out guests whenever she wants hahaha because she already knows the kids are going to try going over all the time lol Update: The tiny girls have spent multiple nights at Aunty Brittany's place already.  Jan 3 - Trip to Goutemala Kalofae, Aljay finally got the gout. He was feeling a dull pain two days earlier but on this day he woke up and couldn't even walk. He was in so much pain. So off to urgent care we went. His scans came back great, but a few hours later we got a call that his labs showed high concentration of uric acid --- gout.  I picked up his prescription meds and he was able to take them around dinner time. 2026 Resolutions!

Sunday, January 4, 2026 Aljay and I sat down together as a couple to plan out the year, share our individual goals, and set intentions for our family. What started as a simple planning session turned into a really beautiful, almost therapeutic conversation, where we both opened up about how recent health scares have impacted us. He also shared how he’s feeling more physically free, mentally clearer, and emotionally lighter, no longer weighed down by the fog of depression. As he’s made these changes, I’ve started to feel like we’re able to have conversations we haven’t had before—more honest, more open, and more connected. Overall, it was a reall...

12/4 - Timpview Volleyball Banquet Earlier that week, Leila was like, “Are you guys coming to my banquet? I think I’m getting an award or something.” Both Aljay and I were like, “Yeah… participation award lol.” Welp. We were wrong 😂 Our girl was awarded Offensive Player of the Year for Junior Varsity! LOL Way to be great, Leila. We know her ankle injury was frustrating, but she kept moving forward and stayed focused. We’re proud of her effort and growth this season. Keep progressing. Playing a sport while keeping your grades up is not easy. She learned quickly how important it is to stay on top of her academics and to use her high school counselor when she needs help adjusting her class schedule. I’m especially proud of her for stepping outside her comfort zone and going in to meet with her counselor on her own. 12/5 - ER For Kidney Stones I was at work when I started feeling a sharp pain in my left flank. Around 4:00 pm it became unbearable. I finally left work around 4:40...
