Aljay & Sandra Updates

Aljay and I have been good. We've been super busy, but super blessed. Here's a bit of what we have been and will be up to. Art Projects Aljay has some pretty cool projects coming up that he is so excited to get started on and will keep him pretty busy this summer. Mural for Pacific Heritage Academy It's a charter school for Pacific Islander students up in Salt Lake county. Sheena is the director there and that's how we got into contact. She's always been like family so this was a no brainer. I'm excited for the official dedication. Update>> it's actually done, but I'll post the pics after the dedication Pacific Islander Art Festival We had an inquiry a few months ago to participate in this festival at a library in Salt Lake for Pacific Heritage month. Community engagement is important to me so I said yes to the event lol. Luckily Aljay doesn't have to paint anything new for it. It's more so to showcase Pacific island artist. Event sit...

#Preggo Update

So after my first Doctor's appointment I was pretty bummed because... The doctor told me to just plan for a C section I would much rather do a Vbac. But again...I understand there is worry of a uterine rupture and that I would have to go into labor on my own before the scheduled C section in order for me to have baby vaginally. I think what scares me most is having to get an epidural....thinking of how the last one went makes me really anxious. Doc also suggested that I get my tubes tied since I would probably have a C section but again are we still holding on to the C section plan? Anyways..I think my emotional instability kicked in because i was like "yeah I'm confident that this is our last child, I'm so done after this kid".... but then I was also feeling sad about not being able to ever have kids again...EVEN though I know I'm done...must be the hormones lol I have high blood pressure which could lead to preeclampsia again Which means I now have to...

Well, #Summerbody is now a #preggobody soooo....yeah. Baby #6 is in the making :) My focus has now switched to having a healthy pregnancy and taking care of myself and baby.. To be honest... I really thought that I was going to get fit and fabulous, regain my core strength, and be all energetic and whatnot this year...but I guess there were other plans for me. And you know what?...it has not been as easy of an adjustment for me. When I first found out I was pregnant I was upset. I didn't want to be pregnant this year and I didn't feel like my body was ready again. I also didn't think I was mentally ready. The last delivery was quite traumatic and scary. I was also worried because I knew I was starting a new job and didn't want to start off with such low energy and feeling sick for the first few months. Then I got called to be Relief Society President and that just felt like a lot of responsibility to take on. All of this happened in consecutive weeks- first the ...

Metuli Lapreal 1 year 6 months She has 8 teeth sometimes she bites just for kicks and giggles She can go up and down the stairs without help (crawls up and slides down on her belly) She is an awesome eater. Feed her and she'll be your friend.  Is starting to repeat things we say and do She most often calls out for Leila. Her go-to sibling for help.  She can call Mom and Dad She's starting to repeat sounds and syllables  She loves to pull all the plugs and wires in the house, but mostly the one for the tv She's tosses and turns about 356 times before knocking out for bed She's queen moefeeks  Has a kungfu grip Has a funny and spunky personality She gets super feisty and aggressive when she's hungry (but who doesnt) She's really quite an easy baby and doesn't cry a lot...or maybe she does but it's drowned...
