#SummerBody

BTW...I started writing this in like Mid April March hahahahha....and the "results" won't be posted until Mid May?anyways...carry on...

That's right folks.

I'm at it again!

ANOTHER FITNESS/WEIGHTLOSS THING!!!

Why do I keep doing this to myself!
Because your'e not a quitter Sandra! I mean,
you've quit a couple thousands times....but you don't quit trying!!! And that's what matters!
Thank you self.

Alllsoooooo...I have something to look forward to!!!
I'm going on the regular Spring recruitment trip to Hawaii in April but this time
ALJAY IS COMING WITH ME!!!

Woohoo!!!

So now we both are on a kick to get some kind of healthy before then!

Can you believe that??!!? Our first kid free trip! Just us!
Made possible by
1. Brittany Fuimaono [aka Briyonce aka BriChelle aka Baemar]
aka the best sister in the world!!!
2. UVU (work perks!)

We're stoked! And we're using this as a kick-off for our 10 year anniversary that's actually in June but who cares! We can celebrate whenever!

Annyywaaayyssss....

What is my plan of action?

(1) IF = intermittent fasting.

I basically fast for 14-15 hours starting from my last meal at night, which is sometimes at 6pm and sometimes at 8:30pm. During the fast I can only have water or tea w/cream. I decided to give this a try because (1) it works well with my schedule, (2) it's very similar to what my eating habits were like living in Samoa (and I was hella skinny and had a lot of energy then so maybe it'll work again?hahahha), and (3) the theory behind was intriguing enough for me to want to try. I do this maybe 2-3 times a week.

(2) KETO

In a snapshot, keto is >> High quality fats. Low carb (NO sugar). Moderate protein.

Umm..basically Aljay really looked into it first and he wanted to do it. He got me on board and I felt like I could do it if he was going to do it as well. I really just wanted to prove to myself that I can control my cravings and get a grip on my sugar/carb intake. I know I'm prone to type 2 diabetes and that I don't exercise enough so the least I can do is have more discipline with my diet.

My goal is to go 8 weeks keto. Carb cycle...then get back onto keto until
A. I get below 200 lbs
B. Get into a consistent workout habit/routine
C. or a combination of both

My biggest challenges?
  • Getting the workouts in. There seems to be no time after work which means I have to be disciplined and wake up early to get it in or just MAKE the time.
  • Getting in enough veggies and quality fats
  • My addiction to chocolate.

I took my measurements in February...yeah back when I thought I was going to start working out hahahahah...

buuuut based off of past experiences, I have more success when I also record what I'm doing lol and apparently I do better when there is something major to look forward to. So below you'll see my stats and a few pics.....like after I get through it LOL.

And if you're still reading....Bless your soul.

Bless my soul.

And may we make it through together.
