OUR SWEET CHRISTMAS Compared to last year's Christmas, this Christmas has been very simple, relaxing, and just wonderful. This year....more smiles and good times with these three monkeys. This was us last year....packing and moving.  Twas a bit stressful. We had a lot of fun "shopping" with the kids. I think our outings were 10% actual shopping and 90% just hanging out, eating out, and taking the kids around.      We didn't have a bunch of Christmas parties to go to,  just the Ward Christmas party and a family get-together. Frozen themed Ward Christmas party. Food, people, skits, decorations... was all mean. Our tree set up and decorations were easy. ( left that to the artists in the family...aka the kids and Dad )  Aljay wrapped the door and made the wreath from the pine trees in the front yard. He also did our lights. So festive this guy. It's Beginning to Feel A Lot Like Christmas!!

The best thing after Thanksgiving is setting up the Christmas tree and decorating !!! Usually we spend Black Friday buying a fresh Christmas tree and setting it up, but we ended up having to buy a new fridge (Fa Black Friday money and fa Christmas tree) . O ur fridge broke and despite the many youtube tutorials and McGuyver action, it ended up outside in the backyard.  We've been extremely blessed to be homeowners and it has been quite a learning experience. A good learning experience though. We've had to deal with home owner responsibilities like having to buy a new furnace, paying mortgage, finding home insurance, and paying HOA fees. Now we've added to the list .. buying our own appliances! Just one appliance so far lol.  While we were at it we decided to make room for the Christmas tree ( that would eventually come ) and got rid of the couch that has suffered enough of the kids endless scribbles and jumping.
