Health Update (April, May, June)
APRIL/MAY April? Yeah, just go ahead and flush that one down the toilet—hahahaha. April was a tough month, and it's been a slow adjustment back to some sort of a normal schedule. The only thing I really remember doing in April was increasing my Ozempic dosage. The recommendation is to start at .25 mg and then bump up to .50 mg after four weeks. I followed that and it made me feel sick, like IBS/fatigue-level sick. It doesn't help that we were in the midst of funeral, family, trips, surgery...all the things. May has been a month of resetting and getting back into focus. Here's what that looks like to me--- I decided to go back down to .25 mg Diet focus - get more protein and fiber Activity- Get more physical movement in my life! I was influenced to download the Bend app I've gone back to using the Omada app regularly (tracking weight, glucose, blood pressure) and interacting with my specialist and health coach.
