Hoiiiii....we're halfway into August and I haven't even given any thought to my monthly goals!! Having monthly goals has really helped me stay focused (kind of) and motivated to get things done! So here's a recap of last month..... JULY GOALS HOUSE PROJECT Kitchen Organization-  organize, clean, and declutter  ½☑ I got through two cabinets, so there's a start.  Sort the mudroom -  The area by the garage door that houses all the shoes is a hot mess. And because of this, we always have at least two kids looking for their shoes when it is time to go somewhere. ✅ Sorted the shoes and organized the bins just for the kids to sort of mess it all over again. So we'll have to come up with another plan to keep the shoes organized and sorted.  Get Rid of More Stuff!!!  - I just feel like we have things that we don't use enough, that needs to be gifted. A lot of these things were brought to our homes by other family members and we just need it to go. I feel like there ...

  I'm over here playing catch up. It's halfway through August already...anywho...July has been a crazy month.... 4th of July Extravaganza (lol) July had a super fun kick off! We started off with the Vineyard City firework show, which we can see so perfectly from our backyard while lying on the trampoline. Then Aljay and his friends lived their best pyrotechnic lives at our 4th of July get together at the clubhouse. Aljay had been waiting since April to play with fireworks and they put on one heck of a show. We get together with the Kava family and everyone related to them lol. Nini once again organized all of it and she never disappoints!!! Good food, good people, good firework show, annndd ZERO injuries/fires. What a blessed Independence day! July 7th - I turned 34 My birthday started with breakfast in bed by the A-team! They made the most beautiful charcutier breakfast platter I had ever seen!!! Bless this kid's heart. He didn't think anyone was going to do anything for his birthday since baby was in the hospital. I apologized that we weren't able to do something bigger for him and of course he said "it's okay Mom, I understand." My Mom heart was so sad but so grateful. His sisters came through big time and made him breakfast in bed. Brought him to tears lol Look at those mandarin slices tho hahah Leila and Saleima did great! Then later that evening Aljay got him a cool present and had a cake and sang happy birthday. I sure am grateful for this kid. A few things about him-- He is the best at just getting his chores done so he can do fun things lol He is an awesome caretaker when I need him to watch the baby.  One of his favorite shows at the moment is America's Got Talent.
