Happy 10th Birthday Leila

Image
And just like that our first born turned 10!  She bestowed upon us the title of Mom and Dad..  and has been so patient with us as we navigated  (and continue to navigate)  this thing called parenthood.  She is obedient, kind, caring, loving,  and all the good things we could ask for in a child.  She is creative, hilarious, and just an all around cool kid.  I love that she loves arts, crafts, and slime lol.  I love that she loves salmon and sushi. I love that she likes to cook  and puts theeee most chocolate chips in her pancakes.  She is strong and resilient.  An amazing big sister. And a fun person to be around.  Happy 10th Birthday  Leila Fuimaono For her birthday I gave the options of either a birthday party or clothes/shoe shopping. She chose shopping. But #CoronaVirus came along and postponed those plans. Instead we had an at-home celebration with all her favorite foods...

First Home-based Church meeting

3/15/2020 Things have shifted so quickly with the whole nation taken precautions with the Corona Virus. Over the span of 3 days..... Disneyland closed yesterday and will be closed for a month.  Schools are on a soft closure for two weeks. Soft closure means the faculty and staff can still work from school but students are not going to school. Our ward council also worked quickly to disseminate information we received from the stake and to check on all the widows and families in the ward without a Priesthood holder. Once that was all sorted, I was fi...

February Catchup

Image
Sheesh....just like that we're into March! How crazy time flies....Here's a quick recap of February happenings. Baby Salani is doing well. Growing beautifully.  Metuli is still a crazy toddler who always wants to hold the baby. She's a pro at destroying the house and getting into eeeeeverything. She also likes to sing all the Frozen songs.  We took the family out for a nice dinner at Texas Roadhouse. *Controlled chaos at it's finest. After getting home from our dinner we ended up in the kids ER. Found out Tuli may have a slight allergy to peanuts. At the restaurant she had eaten a peanut (shell still on) but had spit it out afterwards. So we're thinking it was from that. She's had peanut butter though, so I'm guessing its not a severe allergy.  Our Relief Society had a month long temple challenge and it was awesome! So grateful Mom is here to help us with the kids. Aljay and I were able to go on temple dates :) We ende...
