For almost a month now, we've been self-employed. That's right...we're done working for "the man"!!! whatever that means lol We are now our own bosses!!! We've started a business and now work from home!! How cool/exciting/terrifying/crazy/fun is that?!!? Do you remember in a previous post I mentioned that Aljay quit his job and had another job lined up to work for Vivent (Home security systems)? Well, even though Vivent would have been a great opportunity in terms of income and better work environment...he decided that instead he was going to do something he's been putting off for a long time. and now for the back story... THE DREAM Aljay's long time goal has always been to run a successful family business that would be able to support everyone in his family, not just his wife and kids, but his siblings and their families. He wants to be able to retire his parents and have them live comfortably. He's always talked about having all his siblin...

Summer Visitors

We've been making frequent airport runs this August month with my Dad flying in and out of Salt Lake, and then my sister and her family coming over for the weekend (YAAAYY), and then getting Ben and Nina for a week!!! These occasions are rare but highly cherished! Nothing like spending time with family! The Iafeta's Spend the Weekend When Candace told me that Jay had an opening in his weekend I was so excited because I knew they would fly up and our kids would be able to play with their cousins! We look forward to more visits (either with us going down, or them flying up), of course if timing and finances be willing.    At Kangaroo Zoo (jumper house place) with the Iafeta's and Afeles. Eating after with the cousins after jumping their lives away. To make it even better, Dad was able to catch us all together for just...

July Happenings

Just goes to show that July is the best month ever.  July 4th- Independence Day! Started the month off with a bang! As in food and fireworks to celebrate 4th of July!    We celebrated with a few other Laie families at a park in Provo where we could see all the fireworks from the BYU Stadium of Fire. It was good company and good food and of course firecrackers galore. But of course I didn't take the time to put my plate down and take any pics so we'll skip on down to the rest of July lol.  July 7th- Celebrated me birthday! July 11th- Celebrated Iosefa's Birthday! July 17th- Me Madre and Padre Surprise Us! My parent's called us and told us they were in Utah and on their way to our house. Yikes! lol. We made a mad dash to clean the house and in 15 minutes they arrived. We were actually getting ready to take the kids to Nate a...
