Time for some family updates.....lets shall...lets shallllll!!!! First...   I need to back it up to the end of February when we were able to attend the baby blessing of Owen Mataio Scanlan! Look at this beautiful family below!!!! Jaliz and Chelsea Scanlan have been our friends since our single days college days, going into our married college days, and then post college days as neighbors in Hauula. This little miracle child was such a blessing for their family and we were so happy that we could be there for his blessing!!! We had such a great time seeing their beautiful family!  That same night we got to have FHE with the Lealaitafea/Sagato/Fuimaono aiga. It was such a fun family filled day! *of course I didn't take any pics cuz i'm useless with my useless camera lol #workingonit #oneday #paparazzistatus Now. .. bringing it back to March family news and updates... March started off on a sad note with the passing of Mama Metuli. It especially hit hard for Aljay. ...

March 22, 2015- My first born turned 5. ( What the heck!!!! ) My little Leila is growing up toooooooo fast!!!!! Leila Tauaneai Fuimaono Earthly debut- March 22, 2010 This post is just for her.  So here's 5 things about her that make her so wonderful... She is smart. She asks a lot of questions. She inquires about everything. She is a sponge.  One time Aljay and I were going to the temple. She asked if we were going to get a baby. I looked at her like 'what do you mean?'. She replied 'you going to see Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ at their house and you  can ask them for a baby.' She remembered that I told her that babies come from Heavenly Father. She had learned in primary that the temple is the where God dwells. She probably pieced it together like.... Babies comes from God>>God lives in the Temple>>Mom and Dad are going to the temple>>I've been praying for a baby sister>>Mom and Dad are going to the temple ...

Mama Metuli ('Mama') is the only great grandparent Leila, Iosefa, and Viiga have met in this earthly life. This is one of her favorite scriptures. She had this scripture memorized and made it a part of all her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren's lives. Even now it is one of the first scriptures that our children are learning. On Friday March 7, 2015 she passed away. After almost a week of hospitalization her mortal body could no longer sustain her. We got a call Friday morning just as I was getting up to go to work. I returned from work to a very heartbroken husband who was using every bit of strength to keep himself pulled together. This was the first time someone so dear to his heart had passed away. Luckily Aljay was able to take the weekend to truly mourn and reflect on his memories with Mama.
