FUIMAONO FAMILY

Since I don't have a cool phone or ever update my facebook I'm just going to take pics as much as possible and try to record as much as possible from all the family reunion happenings. Heaaawwiikkoooo!!! Sunday May 18 -  Ben and Nina arrive! Tuesday MAY 20th- We dropped off Candace and the babies off at the airport and then picked up Julius at the same time. Aljay was so excited to see Jules that he didn't get a pic of him. Not a surprise lol but i do have a random video lol Wednesday MAY 21st- Lahvjal, Jules, and Ben went to the airport in the morning to pick up Aljay's birthday present Toa.  Then they died ugly all over the living room. After Aljay got home we cooked him a nice dinner (which wasn't ready until 9pm...lol FAIL!), then I went with Aljay and Vi'iga to go to the airport to pick up Aljay's two other birthday presents >>> Mom and Dad!  aaannndd then when we got home (just before midnite) it...

It's been a little over a week since Vi'iga made his early arrival on earth and almost a week since we've been home from the hospital. It has definitely been a week full of firsts for me personally and for our family.  First time recovering from a C section My initial feelings.... -c section recovery sucks..... compared to the last two babies, this recovery is taking so much longer (so sucks) -I actually have to rest and cannot walk around too much, clean, do stairs, go outside, have a life lol -I set myself back by doing tooo much sometimes and then crashing out hard the next day  -hate that my innards feel like they are mushy gushy floating all sorts ways around in my belly (did that even make sense? yeah well I can't really make sense of my abdomen area right now) on the bright side though..... -I'm recovering well and feeling stronger and better every day  -I was able to walk around the same day I delivered...yippeee  -stretchmarks aren't th...

Tuesday (May 6th)  started off real nice... Aljay stayed home from work (he wanted to let his body rest....but forreals he just didn't want to go to work lol)....but it turned out to be an advantage for us, you can guess why. So I guess we can spin the story a bit and and instead say "he had a strong feeling that he needed to be home and chose to follow the promptings of the Spirit." Wow watta inspired guy! lol  ANYwayss.....he took care of the kids in the morning so I could sleep in. I took full advantage and woke up around 10am. I probably would've stayed in bed longer but Leila came up stairs and let me know that they had cupcakes for breakfast and that 'Daddy went back to sleep' lol. That was my cue to get up :) I went down stairs and found cupcake crumbs and wrappers all over the kitchen counter and floors, and Aljay sleeping on the couch lol. April was great! But I'm ready for MAY!!! I've beeeeeen anxiously waiiitttiinnggg for this month!!!! And for many reasons... Family Reunion is around the corner! YAY we get to see family!!! We will finally get to meet Baby Viiga face to face!!! (3 or less weeks left... hopefully) Aljay gets to take his 2 week leave from work during Baby's Birth/Reunion. Weddings! (Tessi and Famika's, Futi and Tumua's) Aljay's Birthday on the 21st! (which he might end up sharing with Baby...who knows) Honestly I think I'm most excited about #1 and #2 (hehee) and the fact that now I'm finally able to say that everything is happening THIS MONTH....Whenever people have asked about when baby's due, or when our reunion is, our answer has always been "Next Month" or "in two Months".....BUT NOW IT'S THIIIISSS MOONNTTHHHH!!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!! Can you tell I'm excited? I shouldn't overlook April though.....
